Supporting the local community

Here at The Ffolkes we care not just for our customers and team but for the local community in which we live and work. We are passionate about making a difference to the lives of those around us.

This year we are proudly supporting The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House in Hillington. We will be supporting the Hospice in various ways including a 25p donation for every pie from the main menu.

About The Norfolk Hospice

The Norfolk Hospice is committed to providing outstanding care for people in the local community living with life-shortening illnesses and to their carers, family and friends.

The support given to the people they care for is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way. The Norfolk Hospice help people to live life as best as possible for as long as possible.

The Hospice has developed in recent years and some of the care services provided include: Hospice at Home, rehabilitation services including symptom monitoring, physiotherapy, complementary therapies and breathlessness management together with carer support groups, counselling, spiritual and social care.

The Norfolk Hospice offer bereavement counselling and hold opportunities for people to meet others in a similar situation, in a supportive group setting. This includes: coffee mornings, a friendship group, gardening therapy and a walking club.

The Hospice care services cost just over £2.5 million a year. All of their services are provided free of charge to families in your local community.

The Inpatient Unit provides support and care to patients with a wide range of symptoms associated with a life-shortening illness. The unit has ten individual bedrooms with en-suite shower and toilet facilities. TV and Wi-Fi are available in all rooms. Each room has a patio and garden view. The Norfolk Hospice team provides high-quality nursing and medical care supported by psychological and emotional support, complementary therapies, family support, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. The team will provide symptom control and end-of-life care.


The team work with GP's, community nurses, community specialist palliative care nurses and other professionals to ensure re continuity of care.

For every pie sold we will be donating 25p straight to The Norfolk Hospice.

Each pie is lovingly homemade on site from pasty to filling using locally sourced ingredients.

Choose from favourites such as 'beef brisket & Greene King IPA ale pie', 'chicken pie, with smoked bacon & creamy sauce' and our gluten-free and dairy-free option 'sweet potato, spinach & mushroom pie.'
