Please note there’s a £50 pre-authorisation on your card, but don’t worry, any unused amount is automatically refunded within 5-7 working days, depending on your bank.

Changes for families

From September 2025

From the start of September, our outdoor play area will close, and Container Golf will become a 12+ experience.

This marks a big shift, and we want to say a genuine thank you to every family who’s made the play area part of their Ffolkes experience. It’s been full of joy, imagination and the kind of happy chaos we’ll never forget.

Over the past nine years, we’ve been shaping Ffolkes into the bold, colourful destination it is today. Since launching Street Feast in 2021, we’ve really found our stride, led by guest feedback, strong ideas, and a clear sense of direction.

One thing that’s become increasingly clear is the divide between what different audiences are looking for. Families come for fun and play. Adults come to unwind, reset and enjoy something a little more indulgent, while still loving the creativity and energy that defines the Ffolkes experience.

The launch of FFOLKESPA on Friday 5 September marks the next step in that evolution: a colourful, social spa designed for grown-up escapes. Closing the play area allows us to bring the energy down a notch and create an atmosphere that flows seamlessly across the site, from the spa to the pub to the rooms.

We hope the families who’ve supported us over the years will continue to visit, perhaps now in a new way, for a relaxing stay, bold street food, or a spa retreat. The pub remains open to families, and our rooms are still packed with quirky extras. But from September, Ffolkes will focus more on adult stays, vibrant, playful, and proudly indulgent.

And yes, we’ve got plans. We’ve already secured permission for nine more holes of Container Golf, and we’re working on what that space could become next... bigger, better, and unmistakably Ffolkes.
